Baobab is a lovely three-bedroom house, set high up on the edge of the Watamu Marine Park, commanding spectacular views across its infinity pool and out over the sparkling Indian Ocean. It offers a peaceful, elevated retreat with plenty of natural light and breezy verandas, and is a popular choice among holiday-makers seeking comfort and stunning seascapes.

On entering the villa you are greeted by an atrium entrance that opens up to the sky, its Lamu-style carvings and vibrant tropical plants blending seamlessly to bring the outside garden in.

Off the entrance is a lovely inside living and dining space that opens directly onto the pool terrace, where a beautiful infinity pool awaits, offering breathtaking views stretching out over the ocean.

To the back of the house is a lovely, well-equipped kitchen where the house chef will skillfully prepare and create your meals.

All three bedrooms are air-conditioned and beautifully designed — each features its own ensuite bathroom, fitted mosquito nets and overhead fan for extra comfort.

BEDROOM 3

The terrace includes ample space for al fresco dining, a couple of comfortable options for sitting outside as well as sunbeds for relaxing. A stunning feature of the villa is the beautiful roof terrace that stretches along the full length of the house, providing cushioned seating, an additional dining area and cozy nooks, all offering spectacular, uninterrupted views over Watamu Marine Park and the sparkling Indian Ocean beyond.

The house is fully staffed, including a very good cook and a reliable night guard for added peace of mind. Wireless internet is also included in the rental.

Note: Baobab has a backup generator for power cuts, but it cannot run the air-conditioning.
