AMENITIES
Dhow House is a spectactular 5 bedroom house, built in the Lamu-style. Set in one acre of garden, the house is spread over three stories. The magnificent entrance leads up to the first floor where the swiming pool is located with palm trees at each corner. Comfortable sunbeds are placed to look over the pool or out over the gardens below. The living and dining areas too are on the first floor taking advantage of the views across the pool.
Dhow House has two large double bedroom suites on the first floor, with ensuite shower and dressing rooms, whilst on the ground floor there are two air-conditioned twin/double bedroom suites with ensuite shower rooms. A further twin room is also on the ground floor and shares a bathroom with Bedroom 3.
All rooms have fitted mosquito nets and fans. The design of the building lends a natural cooling effect. Also on the ground floor is a television room with Satelite TV and DVD player (Discs not included) - Satellite TV is available at an additional charge.
The 2nd floor has two open entertainment areas with cosy seating - ideal for sundowners. A narrow staircase leads up to the top floor above the water tower which has amazing 360 degree views over Watamu.
The property is fully staffed including a cook, day and night watchmen and G4S security buttons. A small generator can back up the lights and fans in the event of a power cut.
