Jahazi House is a fabulous five-bedroom villa with a private swimming pool, set to overlook the lush mangroves and stretch out towards the serene Mida Creek. A charming wooden boardwalk winds through the mangrove, providing easy and picturesque access down to the creek.

A magnificent entrance leads through to the house and into a spacious, light-filled living area that opens out onto a covered terrace overlooking and gently bordering the inviting swimming pool. There are plenty of spaces to relax and drink in the atmosphere. The property is just a short, pleasant walk from both the main beach at Watamu Marine Park and the quieter Short Beach that overlooks the scenic mouth of Mida Creek.

To one side of the living room is a wonderful dining room that also opens out onto the pool terrace - plenty of space for the whole family to gather, chat and indulge in delicious meals prepared by the house chef.

For moments when the children need to escape the heat of the Kenyan sun, there is also a comfortable TV room off to one side — air-conditioned, with soft sofas and a small desk for anyone who needs to catch up on a bit of work.

The master bedroom is spacious, also air-conditioned, featuring a dressing room and an ensuite bathroom with a bath, plus a generous terrace outside that overlooks the pool, the surrounding mangroves and stretches out toward the creek.

A spectacular feature of this lovely villa is the rooftop terrace, with a comfortable seating area as well as a bar. It’s the perfect spot for sundowners, where you can relax and watch the evening sun sink over the creek — a stunning daily event that few homes can boast.

Wireless internet is available throughout the property. The estate is powered by a comprehensive solar system with generator backup, allowing it to operate effectively off the grid.

The property is fully staffed including a cook, housekeeper, gardener/pool attendent and security.  The palm gardens offer a peaceful retreat and it is the perfect holiday getaway from the city.
